>> ACCESS TO THE FORMULARIE <<
Welcome to the volunteer group for the WFC 3v3 2026, which will be held in San Lorenzo de El Escorial (Madrid), Spain.
First and foremost, we want to express our sincere gratitude for your willingness and availability to contribute to making this event a resounding success in every respect.
To achieve this, it is essential that we prepare thoroughly and clearly understand our respective roles and responsibilities.
This is an international event, under the authority of the International Floorball Federation (IFF), so the various rules and guidelines come from the IFF itself.
Furthermore, the official language of the event will be English.
It is crucial to keep in mind that our role and performance will be fundamental not only to organizing a top-level event but also to leaving a lasting legacy for the sport.
IFF standards and event context
The standards required by the IFF are already incorporated into the 3v3 Floorball World Championship project, guaranteeing a high-level competition.
One of the biggest challenges we will face is organizing an event of this scale and nature with the limited infrastructure of an organization like Floorball Spain. Without official financial support or a specialized staff structure, we will establish a volunteer training academy and develop collaborative programs with various partners. These initiatives will not only allow us to successfully carry out the event but will also create a legacy that will drive the future growth of the sport and the internal development of Floorball Spain.
By establishing agreements with local schools, sports coach training centers, and universities, we can offer specialized training for volunteers that aligns with their curricula and is recognized with the corresponding academic credits. In this way, we create a mutually beneficial synergy that makes participation more attractive while allowing us to lay the groundwork for the future.
Volunteer program
As volunteers, you will be provided with everything necessary to fulfill your assigned tasks, and the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) is responsible for ensuring this provision. You will receive the event-specific attire (which you must wear at all times), equipment, guidance, support, and any other necessary resources.
Every position is important and essential to the smooth running of the event. While each of you will have a specific role, it is important that you are familiar with the functions of the other positions, as you may need to rotate to another role at certain times.
We will define the following working teams:
Initially, each of you will be assigned to one of these teams. However, if the need arises, you may rotate to any of the other teams; hence the importance of understanding their respective functions.
Punctuality, thoroughness, presence, respect, and coordination will guide our work. Please note that this event has a global impact and will be broadcast live to all countries.
