The IFF 3v3 World Floorball Championships 2026 has been awarded to Spain by the IFF CB (International Floorball Federation), and will take place in June (12th to 14th) in the city of San Lorenzo de El Escorial, Madrid. Located in the heart of the Sierra de Guadarrama mountain range (on one side of Mount Abantos), just 50 kilometres from Madrid city, San Lorenzo de El Escorial is one of the main towns for cultural tourism in the area.

Its main attraction is the Monastery and Royal Site of San Lorenzo de El Escorial, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984.

Venue: Polideportivo Zaburdón


The trip to the venue from Madrid (Moncloa bus station) to San Lorenzo de El Escorial takes around 45 minutes by direct bus, and the venue is easily accessible by car with public parking available nearby.

The Polideportivo Municipal El Zaburdón, located at Calle Las Pozas 183 in San Lorenzo de El Escorial, will be the official competition venue for the 3v3 WFC 2026. The facility is one of the main sports centers of the municipality, offering modern infrastructure, accessibility, and multipurpose halls.

For the 3v3 WFC, two halls will be used, each equipped with two courts, providing a total of four courts for the matches. This setup ensures a dynamic competition environment and allows simultaneous games, maximizing the flow of the tournament.

To ensure the best possible experience for all participating teams and visitors, the local organisers have arranged exclusive packages that include both accommodation and transport at preferential rates. A range of options is available to suit different team sizes and budgets, all designed to make your stay comfortable, convenient, and worry-free.

Rooms have been pre-booked and blocked to  ensure availability for registered teams. Reservations for accommodation and services will be guaranteed in order of request until the blocked allotment is filled.


Food


There will be the possibility of food & beverage in the Zaburdón Arena during the tournament. We will provide you with details in the next information letter 


Daily Shuttle Service


To facilitate smooth and timely transfers, daily shuttle buses will operate from the main hotel areas to the competition venue. Pick-up points are located in San Lorenzo de El Escorial, Guadarrama, and Las Rozas–Collado Villalba, with multiple departures scheduled throughout the day. Return trips are coordinated to align with match and training session times. This service is included in the official accommodation packages, offering teams a reliable and stress-free transport solution throughout the event and only reservations made through us. To use this service separately, it must be requested in advance and is subject to availability and applicable fees.
