The tournament brought together 49 national teams from 28 countries across five continents, underlining the rapid global growth of the 3v3 format and turning San Lorenzo de El Escorial into the international capital of floorball throughout the weekend.

Across more than 100 matches, teams delivered a spectacular display of skill, intensity, and sportsmanship. Players, coaches, officials, volunteers, and fans experienced a dynamic and exciting event that once again demonstrated the appeal and accessibility of the 3v3 game.

Sweden dominates the competition

On the court, Sweden reaffirmed its position among the world's leading floorball nations by claiming both the men's and women's world titles.

In the men's final, Sweden defeated Latvia 6–2 to lift the trophy. The women's team completed the double with a convincing 7–1 victory over Switzerland, securing a remarkable achievement and further highlighting Sweden's strength in the discipline.

Latvia and Switzerland earned the silver medals, while Germany claimed bronze in the men's competition and Latvia secured bronze in the women's tournament.

Historic results for the host nation

One of the standout stories of the championship came from the host nation.

Both the Spanish men's and women's national teams reached the quarter-finals of a major international competition for the first time in their history, reflecting the significant progress made by Spanish floorball in recent years.

The men's team achieved its best-ever result by finishing among the top eight teams in the tournament and competing confidently against some of the world's strongest floorball nations.

Meanwhile, the women's team produced a particularly memorable performance. Competing in their first-ever World Championship, the Spanish players advanced to the quarter-finals and demonstrated the promise of a generation that is already making history for Spanish floorball.

Beyond the competition itself, the 3v3 World Floorball Championships proved to be a major organizational success.

For three days, San Lorenzo de El Escorial welcomed hundreds of players, coaches, referees, officials, volunteers, and supporters from around the world. The event stood out not only for its high sporting standards but also for its exceptional atmosphere both on and off the court.
